It's fair to say that AOL Time Warner leapfrogs [those companies] ahead of everybody else and I think it's likely that nobody will ever catch up.

Murdoch thought he had a deal with Time Warner, then, at the very last minute Time Warner went the other way, over to MSNBC.

There are digital signals coming over into what they perceive as kind of their turf. I don't think they want somebody else to move into their turf without their having a piece of it.

I think he still has time to recover politically, and I think it's likely he will. He's good at this. You'll see a better Bush during the next few days, in charge and compassionate. But if he doesn't, there's going to be a serious political price to pay.

Netscape is less and less of a priority for AOL Time Warner, and this is just another step in the slow sun-setting process of Netscape Navigator.

$750 million is a decent chunk of change, and AOL Time Warner is trying to pay down debt, so this would help a little bit from that perspective, ... But with all of AOL Time Warner's issues, the antitrust case was not front and center.
