It's exciting to go to this track in more of its original configuration. The last corner, coming out of the straightaway, is really challenging. It is a big 180 degree turn and really fast.

The Columbia Basin is not an island; we're part of a much larger economy, and our economy is in trouble on a national basis and a state basis. That's the largest trade deficit in history, and 30 percent of that is from Chinese goods coming into the United States.

We're just going to take it apart and see what we can see. There's something clear on the top part of the engine. I think it was fuel. We'll take it apart little by little. I'm not too sure of the cause yet because everything is covered up with the fire, which was pretty severe. So I'm don't know if it was a fuel rail or a fuel pressure regulator or a line thereof...something in that vicinity. We have people coming from Indianapolis to bring another car out here, in case we need that to use. We're going fix it no matter what.

Being able to rebuild the car was huge. It was a lot of work -- piece by piece, doing so many little, tiny minor things -- but we should have a real good car at Phoenix and we won last year so we're really excited about coming back.

I think that is kind of a sad situation we found ourselves in.

We've worked hard in the off-season building the new car. We did a shakedown at Savannah to see how the systems work, then came to Daytona and we'll see how we stack up.
