It's disturbing to see a culture go crazy over these cartoons when all these horrible things have been done in the name of Islam.

Comic strips are moving away from newsprint. If it's not going to appear in print, then why not move it? Animation is the future of cartooning.

It's a real culture shock. Leaving is not only hard because they would be so isolated from their parents, friends and family, it's also like a foreign country.

For perhaps the first time since the beginning of the hip-hop culture, we've been able to provide an empirical definition of what this market truly is. We finally have the hard data showing the difference in core values between young people who affiliate with hip-hop and those who don't, and the eye-opening differences span a wide range of areas from shopping behavior and purchasing decisions, to attitudes towards cars, media usage and fashion.

We'd actually met him once when he was at Cambridge. Then Terry Gilliam came along and started doing cartoons in the last series. We knew of John (Cleese) and Graham (Chapman) and what they were doing. They were doing a thing called 'The Last 1948 Show.' So it was really 'Don't Adjust Your Set' gets together with 'The Last 1948 Show'... John wanted to work with Mike Palin. At that time we decided not to do another series of 'Don't Adjust Your Set,' and we all came in the package: Mike and me and Eric and Terry Gilliam. We said, 'Let's all do it together.' We all liked what each other did.

He is like the sheep dog in the cartoons, ... Guarding the goats is his job and that is all he cares about. He doesn't want to lick you on the hand; he just wants to be left alone to do his job.
