It's different. When you perform with an orchestra it's different than performing with a piano soloist. They really have to be in sync with the conductor.

When you're performing as a group in a band, there is just so much more pressure to perform well. If you fail then everybody else fails too. As opposed to being a solo act, if you mess up then it's only you that sucked.

When you play, never mind who listens to you.

There are SMA pavements that have been down for 10 years, and there's no rutting. It's performing well when done properly.
