It's different. I can feel the breeze on my head again. I had short hair for a long time before this so I can remember what it feels like, but it's colder in the mornings now.

I don't like long hair, and with coaching wrestling it was especially tough. Kids were always telling me to get it out of their faces.

After Chris' funeral I decided to grow my hair. Then a month later my uncle died of cancer. That was a hard hit to me. At first no one really knew why I was growing out my hair, but as they found out they understood.

Mike has a shot to place at state if he stays with his mental focus. He hasn't lost to any 2A wrestlers this season.

Just to see Chris fight through the years with what was going on ... it was just something I thought that I could do.

It was just something where I wanted to help make a bad situation better. I thought this would be a good way to do it. My hair is going to be a wig for a child. Cancer is something that affects so many people.
