He was a strong guy, ... He was mentally tough, and he had tremendous determination when doing anything. He gave 100 percent. He had rodeo cattle, bulls and horses. His grandpa was a rancher, his dad was a rancher, and he was a rancher. He could do anything.

We just have to get better as a group. The tight end is a unique position. We have to do a good job with blocking in the running game, and we have to be a threat in the passing game. In both areas we just need to work to get better. These guys have worked really hard in the off-season. I think we're stronger and faster, but now we just need to go out and show that on the field.
