It's better to burn out, then to fade away.

We have had over the years lots of legends and superstars. Over the last few years we have had performers like Kenny Chesney and Brad Paisley who are monster names at this point. We have been able to catch these people when they have been Performer of the Year and are breaking out.

I had rather believe all the fables in the legends and the Talmud and the Alcoran, than that this universal frame is without a mind

Unfortunately, I'm a little concerned where the legends are coming from nowadays.

I would really, really, really like to be a legend like Madonna. Madonna knows what to do next, and when she's performing, the audience is just in awe of her.
