It's been a drought, so it's amazing how much produce we've gotten. It's enough so everybody could have a variety.

It's absolutely wonderful to get this fresh produce. Whatever doesn't get chosen gets put into our stores. It does not go to waste.

I think a lot of the food drives have been diverted to the Katrina fund. We've had to rely on buying a lot of food for the food pantry.

Sometimes we get vegetables we don't know the names of.

The volunteers bear the costs, so we encourage them to find inexpensive activities.
