It's bad pub for Duke, and it's bad pub for the sport, no question.

It isn't easy when you've got the pressure on, the question always is are you going to do it or not going to do it. How many basketball players can't make a free throw; this time you have a goalie in there, it's a little different.

We hoped to key off of that and we try to. But right now we're just fighting through so many things injury-wise and just to have continuity at practice. We're not really where we want to be.

He has to be close to death to not go out there and face off at a crucial time in the game. We hope we have a couple kids who can go out there and take some pressure off, but he's a warrior. He's the kind of guy who wants to be out there.

Our defense is certainly very different from last year. We couldn't do too many things last year, we had a freshman in the cage who wasn't the kind of athlete that Drew is, so we had to adjust what we did defensively. We can do more things now. We can play some different styles because Drew can make the big save.

He can be phenomenal. He's going to be a very good college goalie. He's going to make us stronger in the cage, that's for sure.
