It's a very, very hard language to learn.

It's not the same alphabet, and not at all the same as a romance language.

They can't ever make it simple.

I'm primarily interested in singing in Gaelic. I thought I'd at least give it a stab.

Public buildings and institutions are overwhelming to immigrants already, without having to figure everything out in a different language.
