It's a very tough meet for the girls. I feel the guys have a slight advantage. It's a much faster pace and energy is there. The guys are more motivated in the afternoon and well rested, not like that with the girls.

Our goal was to try and have as many girls quality to districts to give them another chance. Some were not even tapered for the sectional. For them, it's about mental toughness and trying to get the best possible seed.

We have never had a girls' team that's made it to the states. But who knows, this year could be historic.

I'm excited as all get-out for these girls. I'm not sure it's sunk in yet, but I had goose bumps in the last eight seconds.

We spent the last three days calling on a higher being, and all these girls believe that and are praising Jesus Christ in their effort tonight.

The girls were spreading the ball well and finishing. Defensively, we were able to win the balls and knock them right back into the attack.
