It's a good day. The whole issue of mental health, specifically women's mental health, has been championed in this decision.

Obviously a plea bargain isn't an option, as long as there's nothing on the table to address the mental health issues that are so apparent with Andrea. Given that, the only other option is to go to trial. I don't believe there will be any meaningful negotiations in this matter short of going before a jury.

We didn't know that he had bi-polar but it's true of anyone with mental health issues that when they're being managed, they do not talk about it. So it caught all of us by surprise. But when we look back on it, his behavior did change. It became erratic.

With this report really says, sadly, is there are no excellent mental health programs in this country. The system is almost indecipherable for people.
