It's a big day for him. I saw him yesterday and wished him luck and told him to have fun out there. You only get that debut one time. He'll be nervous. He'll be scared. Everybody is -- and you hope he is. That's natural.

Here's a bad luck story for you. On the day the tickets went on sale I had 10 tickets for the Friday and another 10 for the Monday of the final Test selected in the form on my computer screen all ready to be paid for. I then entered my credit card details pressed send - and The Oval's website crashed. I spent the next few hours trying to get back in to the site to no avail. When I finally got in the tickets had all gone - bah!

He played in my Memorial Day Tournament of Champions. He was, by far, the most advanced ninth-grader I've ever seen.

That is the kind of (bad) luck we have been having whole season. All we can do is keep working hard and hope the breaks go our way.
