It was so funny. That's just Marcus. He's just having fun when he's on the field.

It wasn't the same without him in there. Cornelius is a crafty veteran. He's going to get out there and do things because he knows the tricks of the trade. After playing with him for two years, you get a feel for what he's going to do, and when someone else is in there, maybe they're not as quick or not as strong, and you react different, and it affects the whole defense.

I think it's better to start off on a lower note and finish higher than the other way around.

It was a quick move. It shocked us, but he did a heck of a job. When he was out there he played like the old No. 11 at Penn State.

When he first came here last year he was even smaller then, and a new guy, so you really have to make a name for yourself and get the trust from your teammates. And he came up just hitting people last year on special teams, and then finally when he started playing on defense he was really coming downhill and just hitting big guys like Jamal Lewis last year. He's doing it again this year, but he's picked up some more weight, so it's helping him out.

I pretty much called that play out. It's wasn't [a] shock they ran that, but they made plays when they had to.
