It was really the only choice for me and my family. We've had the best years of our lives here and I'm very happy to hopefully retire as a Canuck.

The commitment and work ethic has been the biggest difference.

We didn't have the bounces tonight and it's as simple as that. It seemed like everything they tried went in and then we're trying to work our way back and we just couldn't finish it.

We have to be in control and not be nervous. When we were up 4-3, we kind of stopped playing and just dumped everything in instead of keeping playing.

It does make a difference to finish off with a win. It's been a disappointing year for us. I don't think it was just one thing that went wrong, but the bottom line is a lot of us didn't play up to our potential.

It's been there since halfway through the season. Yeah, it's been there all year and it's sad and disappointing. I don't know what's going to happen with this group.
