It was really exciting. I was kind of nervous right away, but after a while you get over your nerves. But it felt really good to just get down on the mat.

Down at state, everybody is going to be a good wrestler. I know that it will be tough right from the start, and I'm going to have to be ready for that.

I didn't really think about state as a goal for me at the start of the season. To be able to wrestle at state is a big thing for me, I'm going to try and wrestle my hardest and see what I can do.

I can't jump back to the other side. I know that what I'm doing is right.

The whole school is pretty much loving me right now. I've never felt something like this, ever.

If you're running a race, and you're looking at the lane to your right or your left, you're gonna trip instead of... focusing forward.
