It was not a big deal. There's not a lot of joy in the Rangerdom right now. That's baseball.

If you don't think baseball is a big deal, don't do it. But if you do, do it right.

I've suffered right along with all the rest of the fans. We lost like seven one-run games. When we hit, we did not pitch. When there was pitching, there was no hitting.

In baseball, my theory is to strive for consistency, not to worry about the numbers. If you dwell on statistics you get shortsighted, if you aim for consistency, the numbers will be there at the end.

I'd object. And like a baseball manager, he'd come right back at me.

That's where we're struggling at right now — swinging the bats and throwing strikes. We hadn't been playing normal Cathedral baseball. We've been struggling offensively and on the mound. We've been changing some people up and down in the lineup, and hopefully things will start coming together for Monday.
