It was just a matter of being in the right place at the right time. It was going to (Alge) Crumpler, and it was tipped. I was there at the right time.

We had a great show in 'Wheel,' obviously. And when we placed it in the right time periods, it didn't just become the number-one show, it became the number-one show in the history of television.

I didn't think I was wasting my time. I thought I was in the right company. Those guys were so good. The more we played, the more it became obvious that we had something special. No other band was... I didn't think any other band was capable of what we were doing.

I don't know if one airline right now feels comfortable with having a contract system. I have predicted in the next year we will see massive changes. The changes were coming, and change is always slow, and now change will come at warp speed.

I think there are a lot of good ones right now, but I'm not ashamed to say I'm the best.
