The back door beckons to a prodigal son.

Ironically, it was the father's blessing that actually "financed" the prodigal son's trip away from the Father's face! and it was the son's new revelation of his poverty of heart that propelled him back into his Father's arms. Sometimes we use the very blessings that God gives us to finance our journey away from the centrality of Christ. [When the Lewis Co. bought the land it knew it was zoned agricultural and was limited to one home for every 10 acres.] Going from an agricultural zoning of a minimum 10 acres to one acre lots is a huge change, ... It's more in the best interest of the developer; it's not in the best interest of the community.

Home was truly the best place he could possibly be, but, alas, was not an available option.
