It was good for us, and good for them. They looked good, we looked good. And we all got to do some things.

The first time they gave it to us out of respect and tradition, what we had accomplished last year and what we had coming back, not realizing we had four freshmen starters. Now, the second time around, we earned it out of respect.

In an ironic way, sadly, it was fortunate for us.

We've got some hitters. Everybody in this lineup can hit a home run. We have a much better hitting team this year.

Lizzy just kept them off today.

The key last year was we didn't get to play at home. I've said it before and I'll say it until the day I die. If we had played (that tournament) at home we would have won it. And then we would have gone on to the national championships and won that, too.
