It was definitely frustrating. (But) we never got too low. The lowest right now is probably in that locker room.

I'm seeing a lot of good pitches right now, a lot of good fastballs. It's so much easier when you come out and get ahead. You're just laid back and there's no pressure. You just keep getting hits and the home runs come.

Everybody's just so much more relaxed whether it's (in the clubhouse) playing ping-pong or just hanging out in the lounge.

Everybody was having so much fun and laughing. It's great playing in this atmosphere - at the end having all black and gold shirts here and getting the red out of here.

He'd get that little floater over me. He was getting me at the right time. I couldn't do anything that day. He'd flex and talk trash. God, just give me five minutes as my natural self. But it doesn't work like that.

This game ranks right up there with one of the most painful losses I've ever experienced as a coach. I so thoroughly enjoyed being around this group of young men. To see it end, it hurts.
