It was definitely a right hand and not a head butt that opened her eye. She was slightly crouched over and as she was straightening up I went with the straight right hand (as instructed by trainer Rick Noble). The right is what cut her eye. Not my head.

I guess you might say she had a bit of a home advantage. She has fought here twice before and she knows all of the officials and all of the people associated with the event. I am not crying about it, though. I know I am a good fighter and I'll get other chances.

I'll go home and look at the video, find the punch that they called a head butt, examine mistakes and then start getting ready for the next fight. What else can I do?
