It was a way to get into the Hispanic community because of the culture being so different.

It's not just the bridge. It's a battle for community and culture. I basically told the state highway department that if you come through there with bulldozers, we'll meet you tractor to tractor.

We are hoping to utilize the community to restore the area.

Nothing is done in this facility without volunteers. Without them we wouldn't exist. The more we involve the community, the better.

Now it's not even about the culture, it's about the dollar.

We're hoping that other counties will be onboard. We're hoping this will spread and we can keep it going.
