It was a pleasant surprise, but we were expecting to play Wheeler. Wheeler's been dominant for so long that's the team you expect to be here.

I don't know the word -- she is just such an athlete, volleyball-wise. Even when she wasn't hitting, she was putting it in spots for other people.

I think people are recognizing us, but I don't think anyone's scared of us.

Texas impressed me as being as good as any team I've seen play in this league. We made a lot of mistakes, but a lot of them were forced by the way they played. We just got beat by a much, much better team.

We're not rebuilding. We're going from where we left off - we're going to play just as hard. (Last year's) junior class is darn good.

I feel very fortunate to win. Everything we tried, nothing would go. When you can't score, you have to play defense. I can't be upset about giving up 30 points.
