It was a good match for us. We went out there pretty fired up and wanted to make a statement in the first round. I think they did with the shutout.

They're pretty much a similar team as us. They've got some big guys and a couple of quick guards. But we're not worried about it. We know we could go out and beat anybody in the state.

We actually stepped in and got a few upsets. They went in and didn't care how the guy was ranked.

I think really that kind of opened William's eyes as to what kind of wrestler he could be.

They know the basics, and they do what is taught to them, and they do it well.

They went out there with kind of an attitude to keep that momentum going. They wrestled hard.
