It was a fun game to play in and there were a lot of big plays being made and I tried to give our team a lift. It was just tough that someone has to lose all the time.

It's two competitors playing hard. Me and him, we're the same type of player. We like to bring a lot of energy, and we were both just playing hard. Sometimes energy can turn and get a little haywire.

I knew it would be like that, a hostile environment, so I was ready for it. But it wasn't that bad.

There's a lot of things guys did to get the lead where we were -- we were up by 10 at one point and let them come back a little bit -- but to end the half like that was real good.

It was just an instance where two competitors were playing each other hard. And sometimes things can get a little haywire. I just have to do a better job controlling myself.

That's what's disappointing about our performance today. We had a veteran team, seniors leading. ... (But) we weren't there for the whole game. ... You've got to have that if you're supposed be a good team.
