It tastes better because it's brewed with the whole leaf. Tea bags are filled with the remainder of roasted tea leaves, which is still good, but takes a little bit away from the tea.

Our customers are much more familiar with purchasing tea in tea bags versus loose-leaf teas.

I explained to him - as I withdrew the cup, ripped open the sachet and dunked the tea bag - that tea was an infusion, which meant that it was vital for the water to be actually boiling when it came into contact with the leaves.
