It takes us getting on the track to get that accountability of speed.

It was fantastic to have a meet at our own track. It was great to have Aspen and Eagle Valley over and have a local meet. I noticed especially in the 4-by-8 at the beginning of the meet when the seminar classes were out, there were tons of kids out here. They definitely ran faster with the kids out. It's neat to have a home track advantage.

That two-run homer in the first inning kind of deflated us a little bit. We started out walking two or three guys, and then they made us pay. That's the way it goes sometimes.

Mark did a spectacular job for us during some of the most difficult periods in our financial markets.

They just got into us defensively and we didn't step up to the pressure offensively. We have been seeing a lot of zone (defenses) lately and the girls haven't been use to running a man-to-man offense. We were kind of slow with it. We just weren't getting each other open.

We could also feel bullets striking the floor beneath us. Fortunately, it was metal plate, so they did not penetrate.
