It still all comes down to blocking and tackling. The kids are excited. They're showing up and doing what they need to do.

I was cooking breakfast this morning for my kids, and I thought, "He's just like a Teflon frying pan: Nothing sticks to him."

After losing our first two, it's nice to come back. It's a big win for us, a huge win.

Earning the lowest score of the season and getting that first win, that's always a good thing. Especially after tough losses at Lake Mills and Lakeside Lutheran.
