It reminded people of everything they dislike about this government.

We won't be in a situation where a leader can ignore a key point put to them by another leader. And we think that's good, because we have a number of important points that we definitely will be raising in these debates.

The government has created fertile soil for South African companies to grow, and to the extent that they don't take up the opportunities offered [through public-private partnerships] it is their loss, but if the local companies don't then foreigners certainly will.

This is an area where the federal government falls flat on its face.

There are very, very few of those, if any, because government-run entities just don't have excess capacity.
