It is the absolute thrill of a lifetime to have coached these kids when they were little and then to see how they've matured as individuals and as runners,

Last time they were 10 points behind Oakmont, so our goal was to get closer or beat them as a team,

They're a real solid group. They went to state last year as a group and except for Will Cole, they're all back. They just know what they need to do and they do it.

It's hard to even let your kids out because you don't know if they'll ever come back to you. The violence just keeps escalating.

I feel like it's the best gift I could've given my kids, to come down here.

They make these outrageous comedies and just use these kids as props. They're not beings who are transforming.
