It is impossible, maybe undesirable, to take partisanship out of the political process.

Maybe it tames the partisanship a little bit.

The Constitution has a good share of deliberately open-ended guarantees, like rights to due process of law, equal protection of the law, and freedom from unreasonable searches.

I think the political process is important and we don't shy away from that. But there needs to be a balance. In the public sector, we have promoted (the balance), but we haven't achieved it yet,

It is impossible, as an MP, to run a business and to give adequate attention to your political responsibilities.
