It is easy for clubs to say they are community oriented. We are actually putting the principle into practice.

I did a lot of practice diving at the Community (Park) pool. So I figured I'd go out for the team when I got to high school. I wasn't very good when I started, but I liked it a lot so I stuck with it.

We all eat. We are all part of the world. A lot of this is about the practice of democracy. It goes way beyond the farm bill.

It means a lot. The Golden Apple shows our community what teachers are doing. It shows that great things are happening in Lee County.

If there's some other way to structure it, some other best practice that some other community has found, the time is right to get out there and see if we can understand that.

I'd rather we stay a community. That's what we see now, is the sustained commitment to spiritual practice from which all of our actions begin. That's harder than growing.
