Ontario is not growing as fast as other areas. Is it appropriate to blame that on equalization? I would say no,

It was very, very difficult for a program that was so competitive at the national level to look like it was going toward extinction. The lifeblood of a Division III program is having kids. We don't have athletic scholarships where you can replace players very easily. When those numbers dwindle down, you start worrying about whether you can field a team.

The other really key part to my life is having a relationship with Jesus and understanding that prayer's important, the Bible's important, but that relationship is really what counts.

It is not something that is just limited to the upper echelons, ... It's difficult (at any level) to have those discussions in a classroom setting or a direct report situation. But you have that direct, meaningful input through coaching.
