It is a lot of work for them but they rise to the occasion. They work so hard and really get that sense of ownership.

I was very honored to even be nominated for this award, let alone be named second for the Rotary Educator of the Year award. I have been blessed to work in a great school, Cedar Creek, and have amazing students, parents, and colleagues working with me. I wish there were enough awards to go around for so many other educators. Our district is full of people deserving of this award.

(Pupils) get to choose any person from history and it can be someone who is living or has passed.

This is too much like hard work.

They've finally reaped the benefit of their hard work. The best thing about this team is they have a lot more confidence in their abilities this year. They feel like they have a chance every week.

I said before the game this was going to be difficult. The hard work was done last week and we just had to make sure we got the right result to take us through.
