Most southeastern states are conservative.

Many hunters believe that bucks are being over-exploited and would like to see more mature bucks in the woods when they hunt. Most hunters today are interested in quality over quantity.

And I can promise you that we're not going to go to the Coastal Plain and come back with a three-buck limit. But five would be a nice place to start.

What this shows is that a small percentage of us kill a whole lot of bucks. And many hunters continue to harvest bucks - primarily young bucks - even when they have opportunity to harvest a legal doe.
