It gets me out of the house; I get to mingle with adults rather than just kids all day; and I am making money at it.

The viewer I picture in my mind when I do 'The Kelly File' is a woman who's had a long day, either with the kids or at work, or both.

I have to just come to work every single day. That's not just on the field but off the field, because you have little kids looking up to you; your face is the face of this franchise and this university. You have to understand that every decision that you make is going to be criticized.

The real fix is connecting with kids.

Many of our Latino kids, that we have in our system, are brilliant kids.... but, we as a system have placed a value judgement that unless they can do it in our language, we don't give them credit for it.

They wanted just the kids to get wet, but I ... just jumped out there with them.
