It doesn't help to wallow in self-pity. We're trying.

I felt like I couldn't wallow in self-pity forever. I can't beat myself up forever.

It's been six months. That's a long time to be in survival mode. It's nice to have Mardi Gras, to remind us we're normal people.

If we were younger, we'd probably go back.

It depends on which day it is. Some days, it's more depressing than other days.
