Is there decency left in American politics?

I came into American politics and into this political system proud of politics and the way we make decisions.

The political power of the purse string has a place in America only when there are lots of little purses, and has no place in an American society when it exist only in the hands of a super rich minority. Monopoly is anti-American and anti our original reasons for independence from Britain.

American politics is always an open competition.

The most practical kind of politics is the politics of decency

The thing about American politics, as I've learned, is there is no choice.
