Route 66 was recently ranked the best road trip in the world by The Lonely Planet, which produces travel books and decided to list the 10 best of everything in the world. That's pretty remarkable.

I think that is pretty dang good. This makes Route 66 the best road trip in the U.S. That's bragging rights.
