Investigators have no doubt that the pipe bombs were planted, that these events were caused, by the same person. The letters speak of 'I,' but we haven't eliminated the possibility that there was more than one person.

There's no doubt the retail environment is sluggish. It's bordering on awful. The number of bombs that are being dropped in retail, there's no shortage, but I'm getting a little bit hopeful that with each bomb it brings us closer to the end.

I think only Anthony Zappa knows the answers to that.

But there's always a concern for the person's safety.

There's no doubt this is connected to the events of Sept. 11 and the presence of President Bush.

These are very rare events, but when they do happen, they are very damaging.
