inspiration is like static electricity/ i'm rubbing my cloth over here/ on the crystal shaft of poetic allusion/ and over there....you are/ waiting for the charge that leaps the gulf/ may we all be blessed in these magical exchanges

I will soothe you and heal you,
I will bring you roses.
I too have been covered with thorns.

Mystical insight and enlightenment occur when the veil between the worlds is lifted, the worlds are bridged, the gap closes, and we cross over.

The more knowledge you share, the more knowledge you gain.

Poetry is sane because it floats easily in an infinite sea; reason seeks to cross the infinite sea, and so make it finite. The result is mental exhaustion. To accept everything is an exercise, to understand everything a strain.

Unless you are here: this garden refuses to exist.
Pink dragonflies fall from the air
and become scorpions scratching blood out of rocks.
