Individual liberty can only be acquired individually. It is not something to be imposed, nor it is automatically guaranteed. One begins to commence it when the mind is no longer enslaved by foreign ideas and outwards carriages are commissioned from inner independent thinking.

Liberty and compassion. That's the whole package we are capable of having. When that quality prevails, we can expect and experience an enchanted journey.

Mistaken not hatred for liberty. Disseminating hatred is an abuse of freedom. Liberty has no room for hatred.

I have gradually come to a clear identification of the most essential qualities for personal being: Liberty and Compassion. With these qualities, one becomes open-minded without compromising dignity, passionate without surrendering principles, pacifistic without conforming injustice. There is no question whereabouts his will in manifesting justice, peace and a better world.

When the inner life embodies liberty and compassion, the outward action speaks peace.

When one is at peace with himself, with the surroundings, with all beings in the universe, he is no longer to be under obligation to himself or anyone else, nor does he feel anyone is under obligation to him. That’s the state of liberty. In that state, there’s nothing in him but compassion.
