In the second half we pushed a lot of people up and we knew that would give us the chances, it was just a matter of if we would finish them. We did get our chances and we should've done a lot better. But that's soccer.

They are bigger and stronger. We worked extremely hard. It just was not meant to happen.

We left way too many points behind all year. If we had scored a few goals in crucial games it would have made a difference. It caught up with us.

It gives people the feeling of permanency, that ADC is not just some passing fad that will go away in a few years. It provides a physical location for people to go to get help and have their questions answered about Social Security, how to meet their senator or congressman, or to talk to someone about a problem.

Our number one priority is battling discrimination against Arab-Americans, and changing the stereotypes, letting people know we're not terrorists, we're not all evil. We're human beings just like you.

Time has a different meaning for me, and these events that seem so monumental in the moment will one day be nothing more than a line in a scroll. These humans are but letters to be inked into history. A hundred years from now, I will be free. I will have forgotten their names and faces, and the struggles they have will not matter. Time has a way of burying things, shifting like the desert and swallowing entire civilizations, erasing them from map and memory. Always, in the end, everything returns to dust.
