In the past, the information collected as a byproduct of operations wasn't tapped for its inherent value. Today, people are looking for ways to use it both inside and outside their operations to the benefit of the greater supply chain.

One of the challenges in the past was that the WMS would have to send big batches of orders to the middleware. The middleware then assigns the tasks to the voice system, and reports back to the WMS about five minutes later.

It will be tapped right out of the (brewing) tanks and travel over the ceiling in tubes and right to the bar.
