In the mental calmness of a spiritual life, I have found that the answers to the whys in our lives are able to come to you. In my music I find the same thing.

The calm mind allows one to connect with the inner self, the Soul, the very source of our being. That's where the music lives. That's where my music comes from.

Spirituality is not a formula; it is not a test. It is a relationship. Spirituality is not about competency; it is about intimacy. Spirituality is not about perfection; it is about connection. The way of the spiritual life begins where we are now in the mess of our lives.

The first half of our lives are ruined by our parents and the second half by our children.

The roots of the problems we face in the world, in our national life, and in our family and personal lives are spiritual.

The spiritual path - is simply the journey of living our lives. Everyone is on a spiritual path; most people just don't know it.
