In the fourth quarter, we increased our market share and strengthened our market position despite a challenging climate for tech publishing.

We are pleased with the company's progress in unlocking value for our shareholders. We believe that the value of ZDNet will be enhanced by its independent status, and are looking toward completing this transactional process before mid-year.

Third-quarter results were in line with those the company indicated in its recent announcement. As we announced, several market factors, including margin pressures on OEMs and the Asian economic situation, are continuing to affect our financial performance. The southern half of Greenland is reacting to what we think is climate warming. The northern half is waiting but I don't think it's going to take long.

There is no question that we have weathered a storm and are now entering a relatively stable investment climate. But due to prudent funding policies, the WRS continues to be in excellent financial condition. That is good news for all of our members.

These findings call into question predictions of the future of Greenland in a warmer climate from computer models that do not include variations in glacier flow as a component of change. Actual changes will likely be much larger than predicted by these models.
