In the beginning, all that was asked that they change the word from the N-word to Negro, and they said no.

We asked them to either take it out or change the N-word to 'Negro' and they told us no. Because white parents were upset about the word 'God' being in the script, they took it out. It was removed.

Are our concerns not just as valid?

We urge them to cancel that play in the name of human decency.

We have a policy, ... If you want to change the policy, go to the committee, go to the appropriate authority.
