In recent years, we've seen a new generation get involved, there's a lot of young people and young energy.

We haven't experienced any hostile actions. We've always loved living here in Houston.

There seemed to be activism in the air there.

By this campaign, bringing our source of energy into the light, we hope to make considerations like these forefront in every decision to use or not use the resources provided to us at the cost of adding carbon dioxide to the atmosphere or stripping another Pennsylvania mountain of its natural growth.

I've heard some people say we can't do it. But it's a very significant anniversary and I can't imagine it going unmarked without some kind of parade. It's in our soul to have Mardi Gras.

The people who come to us are desperate. It's as if they're in a burning building. Their lives are at stake.... We didn't feel that we could morally back out and put these people back in the fire and let them die.
