In order to remain competitive with its peers, the Aspen Arts Museum needs to expand. There is a possibility that, by using city-owned property, that could be achieved within the civic core.

The city of Aspen owns about a dozen properties that would potentially be affected by this plan.

If any checking needs to be done, it needs to be at the point the order is initiated -- not when the order is executed.

The bottom line is we're shooting for an (increase) in the 25 percent range in order to meet the needs that we've got. But how that breaks out, I can't tell you yet.

I think the Fed needs to worry about the possibility it's flirting with deflation if it lets this go too far. When nominal rates get down toward zero, the Fed starts running out of ammunition.
